Amy Klosterman

Amy Klosterman, piano, is an active chamber musician and recitalist in the Baltimore-Washington area, and is a member of the Sundays At Three Artistic Committee. A native of North Dakota, Ms Klosterman is a member of the Fessenden Ensemble, hailed by The Washington Post as "one of the finest chamber music groups in the Washington area." Ms. Klosterman recently has performed at the Kennedy Center with cellist Mark Evans as a part of the National Symphony's Prelude Concert series. In 1997 Ms. Klosterman was appointed by the State Department to serve as Artistic Ambassador to Southern Africa, giving concerts and master classes throughout the region. A graduate of the Peabody Conservatory, Ms. Klosterman currently serves on the faculty of the Baltimore School for the Arts. Her principal teachers include Ralph Votapek and Julian Martin.
